Job Description

Responsibilities

•        Greet customers and assist with product selection.
•        Handle cash, card, and mobile payments accurately.
•        Issue invoices and receipts for all transactions.
•       Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop display.
•        Check stock levels and inform management when replenishment is needed.
•        Assist in receiving and arranging new stock.
•        Provide product information and answer customer queries.
•        Ensure all shop items are properly labelled with correct prices.
•        Follow company policies for returns, exchanges, and customer service.
•        Report daily sales and cash summary to management.

Requirements

•        Previous experience as a shop teller, cashier, or sales assistant is preferred.
•        Good communication and customer‑service skills.
•        Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
•        Ability to work under pressure during busy hours.
•        Honest, reliable, and well‑presented.
•        Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks if needed.
•        Basic computer knowledge is an advantage.
